This Time, I Get It! (m/m)
It is the winter of 1987, and I am 13 year old. The week before, I had tied my 15 year old friend Yannick (see "I Won, for Once!") after he bet with me that we would win a wrestling match against me even if his hands were tied behind his back. Well, he lost and proved to be a very willing and cooperative "victim". So this one day I was at school. I went to a private school - very common here in Montréal, and not very expensive as it is subsidised by the government. We call them "collège"; It's somewhat similar to "Catholic schools" in the USA, but not religious and generally much less conservative. But the school uniform is similar : for girls, plaid pleated skirt or pants, blouse with a V-Neck sweater or cardigan. For boys, dress pants, shirts and ties, and again V-neck sweater or cardigan. It was Saturday evening, Mikyee was going back home after playing video games with his friends for hours. He was tired after intense focusing on the games all because he would not lose to the enemies. Now, he was walking back to his house while watching the sunset. Before he knows it, something unfortunate will happen to him. After almost half an hour, he finally arrived back home. He sighed as he wiped off the sweats from his forehead and entered the house after leaving the shoes outside in front of the entrance. Before he could even turn back to close the door, a cloth was pressed against his face. He tried to fight it, but it was futile as he breathed in the chloroform. The unknown stranger put him down on the floor and brought a bag near to the body. After locking everything and making sure everything is secure, the unknown stranger took out various stuffs from the bag. They were coils of ropes, five tapes, various colors of cloths and more. He held Mikyee close as he stripped

Kota layed on the bed in his apartment room, as he took his phone out, swiping the vibrating device’s screen to the right. Dex was calling him, and it’d been a damn while since they’d hung out. Kota had been busy with classes, Maddy, and some side spirit stuff, and he was sure Dex had been caught up with some hero things to do. But finally, he prayed Dex would be calling to go see the latest movie, or play the new game he’d just bought a few weeks ago. It was some old fun the two of them seemed to be missing. He answered, as he shut his eyes for a quick second.
“Hey.” Kota added, as Dex answered back quick

For quite some time, I wanted to see if I could write an effective short story using only dialogue. I wasn't sure if characters would be distinctive, or even if the plot action could be followed.
One day, while watching videos on-line, I happened across one featuring a group of guys taping up their not-so-happy about it friend. Moving from there, I imagined what it would be like for someone who was listening in on that adventure from say, another room. At that point I realized this was the perfect scenario to test my dialogue only story trial.
